Maritoni has always been highly intrigued by the Human Body’s ability to twist, jump and turn by simply “asking.” She began dancing at the age of 5. Throughout her dance education, she took classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern Dance (Horton & Graham) and various turns & jumps as well as advanced technique. Maritoni strongly believes in the artistry of performance.Throughout the years, Maritoni remained the Senior Division Dance Choreographer for Cranbrook Theatre School. She also continues to work with various local high schools with musical productions.Maritoni is very excited and honored to become part of the BCD staff and family.
