Biography
Nichole is a native from Ypsilanti, MI.
She is 28 yrs old and has been dancing for 24 yrs.
Her dancing background consists of Jazz, Ballet (Pointe), Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Hip Hop, Tap, Modern, Lyrical and contemporary of all styles.
Prior to High School graduation, she has won numerous awards in dance, modeling, holds many National Titles and is currently certified through the state of Michigan for Checcetti ballet.
After High School she entered Ball State University located in Muncie, IN. During her time at Ball State she received a bachelor in General Studies with minors in Computer Science, Business Information Technology and Applied Communications. She was also a member of the Ball State Dance team for two years.
She has appeared in many local fashion shows, commercials and in magazines such as “Peoples Magazine”, Kmart advertisements, Show Choir costume magazines and print advertisements for Ball State University.
Her teaching experience includes judging numerous local competitions and hosting workshops for the Indianapolis, IN and Ann Arbor, MI area, 4 years as a dance director for competitive studio in Indiana and 8 years as a dance teacher/choreographer for competitive groups. Nichole has also cheered for 6 years, 2 years as a Cheerleading coach for All Star Cheerleading squads and has coached gymnastics levels 4-6, while specializing in floor routines levels 6-10.
Her dance experience includes training at workshops with top choreographer such as Brian Friedmon, Danny Tidwell, Dan Karaty, Mandy Moore, Mr. Wiggles, Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, 411 Dance Productions, Fatima
, Frank Hatchett, Chris Jones, Glenn Douglas, Rhapsody, James, Marty Kudelka, and Jamal just to name a few.She has also choreographed for and performed with dancers during the half time show of the ABA All Star game in Las Vegas. In the fall of 2005 she had the opportunity to perform at Busch Gardens Hollow-Scream in, Williamsburg, VA. During the summer of 2006 she participated as a runway fashion model for the Indianapolis Black Expo. In the spring of 2007 she was accepted into Toni’s Dance Company which is located in Farmington Hills, MI. Her distinctive dance choreography may be seen throughout Indiana, Michigan and Florida.
Nichole has extensive experience as a dance instructor and has learned from the top choreographers and teachers in the business. She has instructed students of all ages and abilities. She is a very dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a wide array of skills to pass on to younger generations. Her dedication and excitement is unparalleled and indicates her love of dance and her willingness to help others.
